Hi, I’m Aryan. I’m studying Physics at Durham University, and alongside that I’ve developed a deep interest in philosophy over several years of independent work, my A-Level course and formal research.

My EPQ, which earned an A*, examined questions surrounding agreement, beauty and human decision-making, and parts of it were later highlighted by the Westminster Philosophy Department for its clarity and originality. That project taught me how to analyse ideas carefully, write with precision and build arguments that stand up under pressure. I have also won a commendation from the University of Sheffield in a national essay competition.

In my tutoring, I focus on helping students understand philosophy from the inside out rather than treating it as a list of theories to memorise. I like to break down complex positions into something intuitive, relate abstract ideas to concrete examples and guide students toward writing essays that are structured, confident and analytical. Sessions are conversational, supportive and tailored to the student’s pace. My aim is always the same: to help you feel more capable, more curious and ready to approach the subject with real understanding.
