  • Picking apart terms to understand them in everyday language

  • Memorising arguments and drawing out every logical link so that nothing goes unexplained

• Understanding our own opinions

  • Discussion/Socratic method to orientate ourselves within these big ideas

• Understanding the opinions of others

  • Learning the spec-dictated responses

• Exam formulation

  • Memorising the flow of arguments and responses to an exam standard

  • Marking work together so you can see an examiner’s thought process in action

  • Learning about exam structure, question style and structure, AO1 and AO2

  • Prepping essays and model answers

• Cleaning up

  • Stretching knowledge, perfecting exam-style and speed, refining vocabulary

  • Spaced repetition and active recall so that you know the course inside and out
